This research compares one-step versus two-step screening for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), evaluating health outcomes and environmental effects like greenhouse gas emissions. By innovatively connecting health benefits and ecological impacts, the study provides critical insights that may guide healthcare policy toward more sustainable and effective GDM management.
